My Daily Uses
Five things I use regularly, why I bought them, and how they've held up.

These are five things I use pretty often. Some were planned purchases, while others happened because something suddenly broke. Here's why I bought each one and how it's been going so far.
1. Advan Workplus Laptop
Bought in November 2023

I bought this laptop literally a day before my final exams in high school. The screen on my old laptop suddenly broke, and I needed a working laptop for the exams, so I had to find a replacement pretty quickly. I went with the Advan Workplus because it had some of the best specs I could get for the price. Almost three years later, it's still doing really well. I use it for all kinds of things, including college work and coding, and I haven't felt the need to replace it.
2. TEAMGROUP MP44Q 1TB SSD
Bought in July 2025

I added this SSD because my laptop was starting to run out of storage. Nothing too exciting, honestly—I just needed more space. Looking back, I'm really glad I bought it when I did. I paid around Rp900,000, and when I'm writing this, I've seen the same SSD listed for around Rp3.2 million. That's almost three and a half times what I paid. Definitely lucky timing.
3. Epson L3110
Bought in July 2019

This was my first printer, and it's also one of the oldest electronics I still use. I bought it in person at THR Mall in Surabaya for around Rp2.1 million, if I remember correctly. It's easily one of my best purchases. I've only had to get it repaired once, back in 2024, when a broken roller stopped it from feeding paper properly. The repair cost just Rp75,000. I still print things at least two or three times a week, and it's running fine to this day.
4. POCO X6 Pro 5G (512 GB)
Bought in November 2024

I got this phone during a flash sale. Its usual price was around Rp5 million, and at the time, some sellers were even asking more than Rp5.5 million because it was hard to find and a lot of people wanted it. The specs were really good for the price, and the 512 GB storage was a big plus for me. My previous phone was already almost full and had become pretty slow, so this felt like a much-needed upgrade.
5. Soundcore K20i Earbuds
Bought in August 2026

I bought these during a flash sale too, although the reason I needed new earbuds was pretty silly. I forgot to take my old earbuds out of my pants pocket before doing the laundry. They went through the wash and, unsurprisingly, stopped working. So I needed a replacement, and I ended up getting the Soundcore K20i.
